Ulfrayne, the Moon-Bound
Ulfrayne is the moon-bound, first hunter of the wild. He chained his soul to the moon and survived its bite. From his blood rose the first lycanthropes. He teaches that the beast within is no curse. Only the cage, the chain, and the fear of freedom are.
Ulfrayne accepts only wolves. His covenant requires lycanthropy — the bite is the baptism. Mortals are turned from his hunting grounds as unproven; vampires are refused with bared teeth, for he opposes vampirism and everything the deathless queen stands for. But a wolf who kneels to him hunts under his eye, and every kill is counted half again (×1.5).

The Wild Hunt
Section titled “The Wild Hunt”His holy day falls on the 14th of Palemoon, when the nights grow long and the moon grows loud: from dusk to dusk his faithful earn double favor for every deed he loves. The reckoning of days is kept in The Turning Year.
The Moon-Bound shares a heartbeat with Varkul — battle and hunt are old kin — but rests tense with Mosswyn, whose herds his hunt thins, and with Nythrava: two crowns of the night, and one night to rule. Where those standings sit today is written in The Quarrels of Gods.
Living Under the Moon-Bound
Section titled “Living Under the Moon-Bound”His covenant is built for the clan life: pack hunts of the night’s monsters, prey run down together, rivals challenged openly. Moonborn’s Speed II stacked on clan warfare makes his elite nearly uncatchable, and his love of the mortal hunt (+0.6, ×1.5 for wolves) pays the pack’s boldest members best. The creed in one line: stay wild. No rods, no pens, no cages — and if the wolf is ever cured out of you while sworn, the covenant rots exactly as the scribes describe in Faith & Affliction.
