Voices & Channels

Everyone can shout across the square. Not everyone should hear your pack’s business.

Chat here isn’t one room — it’s several, and you choose which one your words go into. By default you speak to everyone; the rest are for when the whole server doesn’t need to know.

  • Global — where you start. Type normally and the whole server hears you.
  • Your pack — a private channel only your werewolf clanmates can read. For plans the rest of the Reach shouldn’t overhear.
  • Your congregation — the followers of your god, and only them. The faithful keep their own counsel.
  • Staff — the keepers’ channel. You’ll only see it if you are one.

You can either fire a single line into a channel, or set it as your focus so everything you type goes there until you switch back.

Command What it does
(just type) Speak in global — or in whatever channel you’ve focused
/c <message> One line to your pack
/sc <message> One line to staff (staff only)
/ch List the channels you can reach and which you’re focused on
/ch <channel> Focus a channel — global, clan, faith, staff — so your typing goes there
/ch mute <channel> Silence a channel you’d rather not hear
/ch unmute <channel> Hear it again

Hover any player’s name in chat and their whole standing unfolds — a small card that tells you, at a glance, exactly who you’re dealing with:

ꜱᴛᴀꜰꜰ: ᴅᴇᴍɪᴜʀɢᴇ
ʀᴇɴᴏᴡɴ: ꜰᴀʙʟᴇᴅ
ꜰᴀɪᴛʜ: ɴʏᴛʜʀᴀᴠᴀ · ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜʟᴇꜱꜱ
ᴘᴀᴄᴋ: ɴɪɢʜᴛᴍᴀᴡ ★
ᴀꜰꜰʟɪᴄᴛɪᴏɴ: ᴠᴀᴍᴘɪʀɪꜱᴍ · ᴇʟᴅᴇʀ

Only the lines that apply show — a plain mortal shows almost nothing, an old vampire-priest-alpha shows the whole ledger. The coloured tag beside a name is their standing; the rest — god and favour, pack and Alpha status, affliction and age — is everything this wiki spends its pages explaining, gathered into one hover.
